Zidane: We should stay loyal to what we have been doing

Zidane: Ronaldo ready for a great performance

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane commented on the title race in the remaining six season-end clashes, not without some amount of irony.

“People can say whatever they want. We are currently concentrated on Deportivo clash only,” he told his press conference ahead of La Liga Matchweek 34 match.

“They can say Barcelona will win La Liga and Real Madrid are not worth anything, but I know it is not the truth.

“The only thing I ask from my players is the loyalty to what we have been doing. We will be moving forward. I do not sense extra pressure, we just need to put all in for each next match. Our fate is in our hands and no one else can determine it.

“You know, I have been in Madrid since the age of 17 and have been active in football for 25 years. I know how people treat the losses over here, it does not change. We have six games ahead of us, and probably three in Champions League. We will be putting in all that is possible. We should handle the critique, accept it. It should motivate us,” the manager concluded.
