Zidane: I won't speak about players who are not mine

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane believes his team does not need to acquire players during the winter transfer window.

"There are no plans to sign anyone. I won't speak about players who are not mine" Zidane told his press conference ahead of the Sunday clash against  Deportivo La Coruna. While asked to comment on the condition of the team, he started with commenting on striker Karim Benzema's recovery.

"He's [Benzema] anxious to get back to playing football and he needs to get his head down and play his game," he said.

"It's great to have them available again after such a long time out. We'll wait and decide who plays tomorrow but they add a option upfront."

The manager then proceeded to talk about the team and the rumours about him being on the verge of resignation.

"I don't belive the players are down. They are content and working hard," he said.

"I'm always positive, never negative ...I'll never throw in the towel and will keep fighting and never surrender."

"We need to keep doing what we know to do well, a lot needs to be improved in areas where we are less adept."

"We're not worried about what other teams may think when they play at the Bernabeu. We're a tight unit and we plan to show this tomorrow," the manager concluded on the matter.
