What Yacine Adli said about Unai Emery being one step away from Arsenal move

Yacine Adli is ready to become Unai Emery’s first signing after he turned down his current club PSG’s new deal. According to reports, the 17-year-old attacker is set to sign a three-year deal, with the option of a further two years. Arsenal fans will be filled with confidence that Adli reportedly turned down a more lucrative offer from his current club to stay in France which means that the youngster isn't on board with the big money venture in Paris, and believes he has more chance of both progressing and breaking into the first team in London. Speaking to Goal about working under Emery, when he was still manager of the Ligue 1 club, Adli said: "It was a very good apprenticeship. "I think I've become more mature, largely thanks to my integration into the adult game with the reserves, certain training sessions with the professionals. "I've also improved technically, tactically thanks to David Hernandez, who I've watched a lot of videos with, which has really helped me. "But I think there are still some aspects I can improve. I'm aiming higher, so I'm full of things that can make me better.”
