Juve supporters will tell you that their club won the scudetto 34 times, but the rest of the world will shake their heads. All of this is because of the corruption scandal in Italian football in 2006 (Calciopoli).

Juventus and several other clubs (Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio, Reggina) were accused of corrupt activities for the purpose of the appointment of suitable referees to matches. Disciplinary punishments followed, but the Old Lady was punished and got the worst of it. The club was stripped of its championship titles in 2005, and 2006 and was transferred to Serie B.

Even in its own city, Juventus is not a favourite. As it turns out, most people support "Torino".

But the Petersburg club is especially hated in Europe. According to the views prevailing in Europe, Zenit has many racist fans who are opposed to other (non-Russian) players wearing the clubs' colours.

Moving to Asia. The club was founded in 2013 and was immediately labelled as a business project. The creation of the club was the result of cooperation between Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Ganguly Sourav, the captain of the Indian cricket team.

The club has few fans in the Indian Super League. This rich club became the main adversary of two legendary Indian clubs.

Mohun Bagan (the oldest football club in India) and East Bengal represent the rich football traditions of India, for which they have many fans from the working and low-income classes. Atletico Kolkata, on the other hand, is the black sheep of the Indian Super League.

1. RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig is the biggest example of business investment in sports. RB Leipzig was founded in 2009 but literally stormed into the Bundesliga in 2016 thanks to investments from Red Bull, which pours a lot of money into the club budget.

Leipzig made the top spot for a reason. The philosophy of German football is to give priority to fans' opinions. Almost in all clubs in the Bundesliga fans own some part of the shares. A striking example of this is "Borussia Dortmund", where more than 100 thousand fans have a voice in the affairs and decisions of the club.

The Leipzig shareholder fans are a small minority, and most of them are Red Bull employees. Leipzig by its very existence contradicts the traditions and customs of German club football.
