UEFA board want shut roof at UCL final venue


UEFA board want to enhance the precautionary measures at Champions League final following the terrorist attack in Dortmund right before the quarterfinal against Monaco.

The match will take place at Principality stadium in Cardiff, Wales on June 3.

According to Daily Mail, UEFA bosses have started secret talks with Wales officials in the attempt of closing the roof at the stadium. This way they want to protect UEFA Champions League Final game from possible aerial attacks.

Wales police, in turn, assure the public in well developed security measures for the Champions League final.

“Detailed safety and security planning and preparation for the Uefa Champions League final in Cardiff has been going ahead for many months,” said South Wales Police representative Steve Furnham.
