TOP 10 World Cup Kits

With less than 14 days to go before the start of the summer’s big event, take a look at TOP 10 home kits that have been showcased so far.
  1. Mexico
Mexico take their inspiration from the early 1990s, and stays true to their traditional green shirt. The detail to the neck reads “Soy Mexico”, which completes the visual commitment to the country, translating as “I am Mexico”.
  1. Portugal
After claiming their first continental title in France two years ago, Portugal travel to Russia this summer as kings of Europe.
  1. Brazil
Brazil have worn yellow shirts at every World Cup since 1954. They will wear a shade of yellow akin to that seen at Mexico “70 after Nike designers took to the Football Museum in Sao Paulo to sample the kit made famous by the likes of Pele, Carlos Alberto and Jarzinho.
  1. Colombia
The best of the Adidas kits-and almost the best of all the blooming kits-is this effort from Colombia.
  1. England
The collar looks nice, and the more simplistic design fits in well with the placement of the number.
  1. Spain
After the debacle that was the 2014 World Cup, Spain need to go big this time if they are going to regain their reputation.
  1. Belgium
It’s a cross between something your Nan would knit and a football shirt, but by heavens does it work. The Belgians will be taking their inspiration from Euro ’84 with the shirt an overall colour of red which ties with their nickname of the “Red Devils”.
  1. Nigeria
Nike have aimed to reflect the nation’s “energetic” culture through the news designs, while the home shirt is meant to be a subtle homage to Nigeria’s 1994 shirt. It’s incredible, frankly, and is bound to turn us all into Super Eagles in the summer. Already 3 million orders have been sent to Nike, which is an incredible result.
  1. Argentina
Argentina’s new home kit will feature blue and white stripes. The jersey also feature an embossed sign-off combined of laurels and the number 125, plus two gold stars above the badge in celebration of the country’s two World Cup wins.
  1. Germany
The World Cup holders pay homage to their Italia ’90 victory with their new shirt for the 2018 edition of the tournament, which builds on this classic design and features dropped shoulder cut lines. It will have the words “Die Mannschaft” on the reverse of the neck and a gold World Cup winner badge features on the front as well as a special sign-off on the inside of the collar that links the two eras.
