Toby Alderweireld "not thinking" about new Tottenham Hotspur deal
Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has insisted that he is "not thinking" about signing a new contract with the club at the moment.
Spurs do have the option to trigger a 12-month extension in the contract which would make Alderweireld available for just £25m during a two-week spell the following summer.
"Honestly, I'm not thinking about it at the moment. I feel good and I'm playing so I'm happy. We'll see what happens," the 29-year-old is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
Alderweireld has made eight appearances for Spurs across all competitions so far this season.
