Thierry Henry to get Arsenal manager job?

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry wants to become Arsenal boss and is set to rule out the other candidates for the job such as Mikel Arteta and Massimiliano Allegri.

It has been previously reported that the France legend might become part of Mikel Arteta's coaching staff, however, according to Daily Mail, the legend will not be satisfied by anything except the head coach job. The 40-year-old has previously commented on the possibility of taking over Arsenal manager job, stating that he is willing to accept new challenges. ‘Listen, I’m a competitor, you don’t back down from a challenge,’ he told a news conference. ‘We are hypothetically speaking before people jump ahead of everything, [but] I have never backed down from a challenge since I was young. ‘If you love a place and they ask – I repeat, they ask – for help, you are always going to say yes,’ the legend concluded on the matter. Thierry Henry has played for Arsenal between years 1999 and 2007, winning two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and two FA Community Shiel titles. In 2006 Arsenal lost the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona.
