Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner who joined Arsenal from Juventus in a free transfer, made his first appearance in Arsenal pre-season friendly against Lazio. The 34-year-old got into a tangle with Senad Lilic in only three minutes. In a footage it’s seen that Lazio star Senad Lulic is trying to grab the ball off the veteran defender to prevent him from taking a quick free-kick. But Lichtsteiner is having none of it and firmly shoves his opponent. Then a battle was born between the two players in that moment which continued to bubble over throughout the game.
