The shirt numbers available for new Arsenal signings

Arsenal are expected to announce a number of new arrivals in the coming weeks. Unai Emery has signed Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos so far during this summer transfer window. However, it doesn't look like that Arsenal is done with signings. Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira is expected to move to Arsenal next week, while Matteo Guendouzi is also due to arrive from Lorient. So which numbers can new players take? Arsenal has few numbers that don't have an owner. No.3 shirt is currently vacant following Kieran Gibbs' move to West Brom last summer. The No.11 shirt is available for new signings as Mesut Ozil has switched to the No.10 shirt. Santi Cazorla's departure from Arsenal has left the No.19 shirt available for any potential new arrivals at the club. The No.29 shirt is also available as Granit Xhaka decided to take No.34. Petr Cech's decision to become the club's No.1 has left N.33 number vacant.
