Santi Cazorla set to leave Arsenal as Villarreal offer return to Spanish star

Santi Cazorla could leave Arsenal as has been offered the chance to spend pre-season with his former club Villareal. No final decision has been taken over his future but Cazorla is not expected to be offered new terms at Arsenal, Standart Sport understands. The 33-year-old Cazorla has been sidelined since October 2016 due to a chronic Achilles injury and returned to first-team training with Arsenal in the final weeks of the season but was unable to make an appearances in the final games of the season.
