The details of Cristiano Ronaldo’s new agreement with Nike have been revealed.
As reported by The Sunday Times, the Portuguese star has signed a lifetime deal with the sportswear manufacturer, with $24m annual compensation.
This means, that Ronaldo will have earned almost $1 billion from the partnership with Nike when he is 73 years old.
Ronaldo is the third sportsman after LeBron James and Michael Jordan, who has signed a lifetime deal with Nike.
To recall, Ronaldo has extended his contract with Real Madrid earlier this months to tie his future with the club up until 2021, which will see him earning 24 m euros per year plus 1 m euros as a bonus for every season.
