According to latest reports from le10sport.com, Juan Bernat, who joined PSG from Bayern Munich this summer, was an emergency choice.
League 1 champions actually had two main candidates to sign, including Alex Sandro from Juventus and David Alaba from Bayern Munich.
Juventus had demanded minimum 60 m for Brazilian left back, that’s why PSG had switched their attention to Austria international.
Despite the interest, Bundesliga champions didn’t even want to start negotiations and categorically rejected PSG. Finally, PSG signed Juan Bernat for 7 m and signed 3-year-contract with Spanish international.
