Is this the real reason why Kevin de Bruyne is injured?

Yesterday Manchester City announced the news of Kevin De Bryune's injury. He is suffering from a knee injury and can be out up to four months. His loss will be a huge blow to Pep Guardiola's chances of defending the Premier League title. De Bruyne suffered a similar injury back in 2016 that forced him to miss 10 weeks and 12 games of the season. "Kevin De Bruyne is undergoing tests on his right knee after sustaining an injury at training on Wednesday. The extent of the problem is not yet known and we will bring you further updates on Kevin's condition in due course," the statement of Manchester City. Statistics by Bettingexpert show that the 27-year-old got through a gruelling 540 minutes of action at the World Cup. Just 9 players spent more time on the pitch than De Bruyne, who went on to play a total of 68 games for club and country last season, starting 90 per cent of them.
