Real Madrid V Barcelona. Messi-Suarez-Dembele V Benzema-Bale-Asensio

Real Madrid V Barcelona is an endless rivalry. The 2018/19 La Liga season is barely started but specialist already comperes their statistics. With three victories from three in La Liga Santander, Barcelona and Real Madrid have started the season with a bang, and both attacking trios, Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele, Luis Suarez and Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Marcos Asensio, have also been amongst the goals. MSD have scored of Barcelona’s 13 goals, including the Spanish Super Cup. This translates to 69 per cent. Benzema and Bale have scored eight of Madrid’s 12 goals, or 66 per cent of the total. Starters Both Ernesto Valverde and Lopetegui have started each match with these six players. Messi, on the Barcelona side, and Benzema for Madrid, have played every minute possible. Gareth Bale and Ousmane Dembele have been the most replaced. The Frenchman has only completed one game, the clash against Huesca, the same as the Welshman, though in his case it was the European Super Cup against Atletico Madrid. Pichichi Finding Messi at the top of the Pichichi table has become routine, but less recent was the presence of Karim Benzema. Both players share the LaLiga Santander Pichichi with four goals each, although in the overall calculation of the season the Frenchman has five goals, as he scored in the Super Cup. He, therefore, surpasses the figures of the Argentinian and is playing at a very high level. Behind them comes Bale who has scored in all three league games. Effectiveness Barcelona's trio have a goal more than Real Madrid (9-8), but it is also true that Los Blancos are more effective, since they need fewer shots on goal than the Catalans to score. Benzema needed seven shots on goal to score five, whilst Messi needed nine to score four, Dembele, seven to score three goals and Luis Suarez seven shots for two goals. Passing The association between the members of each trident is becoming more fluid, and the members of MSD have given each other 88 passes in three LaLiga Santander matches. Messi has played in 26 passes to Dembele, and he's responded with 16 the other way. Luis Suarez, perhaps because he has a centre-forwards profile, participates less, giving 11 passes to each of his attacking colleagues. The most frequent connection within BBA is via Asensio and Benzema, and between them, there have been 20 passes. Counting Bale the figure rises to 61.
