Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez rejected an eye-watering offer from Hebei China Fortune, reports AS.
The Colombia international has been in and out of Real Madrid’s first team over the past season and a half and has frequently been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu.
Hebei China Fortune, who are managed by Manuel Pellegrini, offered James a staggering deal worth €30m after tax a season, nearly ten times the amount the midfielder earns at Real Madrid. However, James turned it down.
The 25-year-old’s current club also rejected an initial €80m transfer offer. Hebei China Fortune reportedly raised their bid to €110m after seeing that Real Madrid had no intention of selling him and James subsequently rejected their interest.
