Former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has emerged as a shock candidate for the Real Madrid boss’s position, according to reports in Spain.
The 40-year-old has been out of a job since quitting Shanghai SIPG in November 2017.
Following Zinedine Zidane's shock departure just a few days after guiding to Real Madrid to a third consecutive Champions League title, Villas-Boas is now being mooted as the Frenchman's replacement, according to AS.
If Villas-Boas were to get the job it would see him reunite with Gareth Bale.
