Barcelona striker Neymar was an object of transfer speculations all the summer long. El Mundo Deportivo informs, that the 24-year-old Brazilian was not only offered 5-year deals in Real Madrid and PSG, but a one-time transfer bonus, estimating 40 m euros.
Moreover, Real Madrid were ready to pay 32 m euros annually after taxes, while PSG offered even more – 40 m euros. However, Neymar opted to remain at Barcelona where he earns 15 m euros a year.
It’s also revealed, that PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi promised to build a hotel in Brazil and name it in Neymar’s honor, also making him a 30-percent shareholder of the new business.
Manchester United, on the other hand, were ready to improve any offer of their opponents. Manchester City have even started negotiations with Neymar’s father, but they didn’t make an offer at the end.
