Atletico Madrid scouted Germany striker Timo Werner last week, according to Bild.
Werner, who has netted 31 Bundesliga goals for RB Leipzig since the start of last season, has been linked with a number of top teams, including Real Madrid, over the past few months.
According to Bild, the La Liga side watched him in action during RB Leipzig’s 2-0 win at home to Augsburg last Friday.
Leizpig are keen to keep hold of the 21-year-old.
