Dutchman Matthijs De Light has informed Ajax chiefs Edwin van Der Sar and Marc Overmans he wishes to leave this summer, according to De Telegraaf.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and even Barcelona are linked with the 18-year-old. However, Manchester City are leading the race to sign De Light, according to Mirror Sport.
Italian agent Mino Rajola has joined De Light’s camp, working with his prime representative, Barry Hulshoff, to find him the right club.
De Light, the centre-half played a key role in the Amsterdammers run to the Europa League final in 2016/17 where they were beaten by Manchester United in the final.
