Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola offered Inter the option of the young player’s transfer, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport inform.
According to the sources, the agent met with Inter’s representatives to discuss the possibility of the 18-year-old’s move. The club were open to negotiations.
However, Milan agents believe that such a move from Mino Raiola is nothing more than a tactical one. The young goalkeeper’s current contract with the Rossoneri expires in summer 2018 and the negotiations over the deal refreshment have already started. The player’s agent wants to make sure the new contract is signed under the best conditions.
Milan, in turn, are believed to try to keep the Italian goalkeeper on board, and in case of selling they will consider foreign clubs only.
Gianluigi Donnarumma has featured in 33 Serie A games during the current season, having conceded 37 goals.
