Kylian Mbappe has been the subject of intense transfer speculation all summer, with interest from a string of top clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

But now it looks like he could be staying in France – and PSG could controversially follow-up the biggest transfer fee of all time (Neymar) with the second biggest within a few weeks.

Sky in Italy are reporting that PSG are close to agreeing £128m plus Lucas Moura deal for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe.

They also say PSG also looking to sign Fabinho from Monaco – and the total deal for him and Mbappe would be worth an incredible £201m!

The key factor in this transfer could be the fact that Kylian Mbappe wants to join Paris Saint Germain to join up with Neymar.

Reports suggest, that there will be a loan move initially, with PSG intending to meet UEFA’s financial fair-play requirements following Neymar’s world-record transfer. However, the agreement will include an obligation to buy Mbappe next summer.

However, at this stage PSG and Monaco are yet to reach an agreement on the matter.
