Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: 'I want to be like Thierry Henry'

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he wants to follow in the footsteps of former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry after completing his move to the Gunners.

Aubameyang officially moved to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday morning, with Arsenal believed to have paid in the region of £60m to sign the Gabon international from Borussia Dortmund. The 28-year-old, who has scored 141 goals in 213 appearances for Dortmund, has said that Henry is "an example for us strikers" as he looks to make a similar impression in the English capital. "I think the club has such a big history and great players like Thierry Henry. He's an example for us strikers. I'm really happy, like I said before," Aubameyang told Arsenal TV.
