Petr Cech reveals how he should adjust to under Unai Emery

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has stated that he will do his best to adjust to working to Unai Emery’s philosophy at the Emirates. It seemed Cech’s spell at Arsenal was coming to an end but due to a strong season the experienced keeper started as Emery’s No. 1 though the club had Bernd Leno worth £22 . In an interview with football.london, Cech has spoken about Arsenal new style and philosophy and mentioned how he is getting to adapt to new circumstances. “You need your team to help you out because if you have options you can play the ball out,” he said. “If people offer you the options to play short it’s not as difficult as it looks. “Obviously you need to work on that and coming into the games it becomes harder than in training. But with more practice it will become easier and with confidence from the games we will adapt quicker to what Unai wants. “Every manager has his own way of playing football and so it has been a different way of training, a different way of preparation, but that is completely normal. “For people who have been at Arsenal for a long time it might not be normal because they never experienced that change. I had 11 managers in 10 years at Chelsea so I know exactly that new managers come, new things come and you have to adapt and go on. “So the important thing is the quality of the work and the quality of the preparation and we have got that.”
