Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised Man United’s holding midfielder Michael Carrick ahead of the Manchester derby.
Michael Carrick has been playing for the Red Devils since 2006 and has made more than 300 appearances for the club, after moving to Old Trafford from Tottenham. Carrick has been a key player for United for a long time, contributing to success both in domestic competitions and in Europe.
“I am a big fan of Michael Carrick. He is one of the best holding midfielders I’ve ever seen in my life by far. He’s the level of Xabi Alonso and Sergio Busquets.
