Pep Guardiola banned for two Champions League matches

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been banned for two Champions League matches because of his behavior in quarter-final match against Liverpool at Ethiad Stadium on April 10. Former Barcelona boss Guardiola insulted referee Mateu Lahoz when protesting that a disallowed goal. Liverpool won the match 2-1 to seal a 5-1 aggregate victory. They lost the final 3-1 to Real Madrid. Because of the incident Guardiola will now have to miss City’s first game of the Champions League next season. What about the second match, the manager will only be added if he receives disciplinary action for a further offence next season. Liverpool also have been fined for 20.00 euros by European football’s governing body for crowd disturbances, acts of damage.
