The opening date of White Hart Lane could be after October 28
Tottenham could be forced to postpone the game against Manchester City if the new stadium is not ready.
The £850million ground had originally been expected to be ready for the game against Liverpool on September 15.
Spurs have already put back the original opening date of the new White Hart Lane, due to safety issues and the ground might not be ready in time for October 28 when Tottenham will host Manchester City.
Spurs cannot use Wembley on that date due to the national stadium being booked for the NFL meeting between Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.
