Olivier Giroud opens up on his possible move to Marseille

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been linked with a return to France back in summer and now he opens up on transfer talks with Marseille. Since his January move to Stamford Bridge, Giroud played a key role for the club towards the end of the season as they lifted the FA Cup. Although he has so far failed to find the net for his club this season, Giroud has claimed that there was no concrete interest from Marseille and that he is happy at the "top club in England" at present. "It did not go as far as we could say," he told French publication L'Equipe (via Sport Witness ). "There was really a contact [from Marseille] last year, but nothing really concrete this summer. "I had just arrived at Chelsea, it was not the time to pack my bags again three months later. "For me, Chelsea is the top club in England, the one that has won the most titles over the last ten years. "I am where I wanted to be. So why leave?"
