Calum Chambers has joined Premier League newcomers Fulham on a season-long loan,
Arsenal.com informs. The 23-year-old signed new contract with the Gunners last month, having made 82 appearances since joining from Southampton in 2014.
New Gunners manager Unai Emery said the England international has a bright future in the game: “Calum is a talented defender who has a bright future. We all believe this loan at Fulham will be an important part of his development and wish him a successful season.”
Chambers joins Germany World Cup winner Andre Schurrle, Swansea defender Alfie Mawson and forward Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle to have moved to Fulham this summer.
