Naomi Broady breaks into world’s top 100

British number three Naomi Broady moved into the world’s top 100 for the first time in her career. She defeated Robin Anderson at a second-tier WTA event in the United States.

Broady dropped the opening set to her American opponent in a tie-break but she stormed back to record a 6-7 6-0 6-2 victory.

The Stockport hitter is expected to move into 96th place in the world rankings on Monday, joining Johanna Konta and Heather Watson.
