Mo Salah warned off think twice before becoming Ronaldo’s or Messi’s shadow

Former Egypt coach Hassan Shehata has warned Liverpool star Mo Salah to think twice before leaving his current club as he can easily become a shadow of Ronaldo or Messi in these two clubs. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona continue to be linked with Salah who netted 38 times across all competitions this season. The 25-year-old who arrived at Anfield in a £36.9 million deal , has become a man in demand and now both Real and Barcelona are ready to pay big money for him. However, Shehata warns Salah to be careful in his decisions and brings him the example of Neymar who left Barcelona not to become Messi's shadow – a multiple Ballon d’Or winner. “It is honour to us when we talk about Mohamed Salah. "He did great job this year with Liverpool. He can either leave for Barcelona or Real Madrid, or he can stay with Liverpool. "It is up to him, but I think he should play for the team who will always let him play. "Salah is the biggest star with Liverpool, but with Real Madrid he will under the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo. "That's what made Neymar leave Barcelona, because he wanted to be out of Lionel Messi's shadow. "Salah should think very well before he leaves Liverpool and get advice from trustworthy professional people, then he will take the best decision for himself,” Former Egypt coach Hassan Shehata said. Now Salah is concentrated on recovering from injury he sustained during Champions League quarter-final first leg against Manchester City.

Di Francesco:”We have to believe we can pull off this feat”
