Mauricio Pochettino reveals when Spurs goalkeeper Hugo LIoris will return to action

Hugo Lloris could return to training at Tottenham Hotspur next week after his thigh injury, his manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed. The Frenchman has been arrested for subsequently pleading guilty to drink driving and then he picked up a thigh injury in Tottenham's 3-0 victory at Manchester United. LIoris will miss the Premier League game at Brighton on Saturday before returning to training, although Pochettino is not sure when he will be match ready. "It is a point that we still do not know. We hope [he will be playing] as soon as possible but we think the plan is still next week if everything goes to plan in training," he said. The drink driving incident earned him a £50,000 fine and a ban from driving for 20 months in court. LIoris missed Tottenham's three straight defeats to Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan. "I think he was under stress during the game against Manchester United. I think the injury and with the added stress maybe created that injury. "The injury now is helping him to take time and think and be a little bit more relaxed. To compete after what happened was a massive stress for him," the manager added.
