Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera to face match-fixing trial?
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has been warned that he may stand trial over an alleged match-fixing scandal dating back to May 2011.
The Red Devils midfielder is expected to be one of 33 players called to the stand at a Spanish court later this year, along with Atletico Madrid ace Gabi.
The case, which refers to a match involving Levante and the 28-year-old's first club Real Zaragoza, is expected to last for around six months.
Zaragoza's ex-manager Javier Aguirre, sporting director Antonio Prieto and owner Agapito Iglesias - all of whom have since left the club - will also be summoned.
