Manchester City are willing to invest £100m on reinforcing their full-back, according to The Times.
Having forked out almost £150m in his first transfer window at City, head coach Pep Guardiola is ready to strength once more.
The Spaniard reportedly wants to replace the aging Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, while also providing cover for Gael Clichy on the left.
And The Times claim Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin and Valencia’s Jose Luis Gaya are Guardiola’s chief transfer targets.
An offer in the region of £40m is believed to be sufficient to lure Bellerin to the Etihad Stadium, while Gaya has a £45m release clause in his contract at the Mestalla.
