Manchester City could agree £43m Napoli star deal in next 24 hours

Pep Guardiola’s side could agree Jorginho’s £43m deal in the next 24 hours after his agent and Napoli’s chief negotiator flew to England to close the deal, according to Mirror Football. Jorginho’s representative Joao Santos is waiting in Colchester for the green light from City and Napoli that they have agreed on terms for the Italy midfielder. Napoli’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is also in the UK to tie up the transfer and it is understood the clubs are close to agreeing on a £43million fee or €50million. Oleksandr Zinchenko was considered as a makeweight and Santos said: “I’m in England, specifically Colchester, 400km from Manchester. “The negotiations are in the hands of Napoli. I’m waiting for a signal to understand what to do. This week something will happen. Until Friday, I will be in England.”
