Manchester United are eyeing Everton attacker Romelu Lukaku.
According to The Sun, United Jose Mourinho is willing to pay around £60million for the striker this summer.
The 54-year-old sees him as a long-term replacement for Wayne Rooney and the 35-year-old Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Rooney is expected to leave at the end of this season, while the Sweden forward has yet to trigger a one-year extension to his deal.
Lukaku and his agent, Mino Raiola, are insisting on a £50m buy-out, while Everton reckon that figure should be around £85m in the current market.
There is also debate over the arrangements for Raiola’s commission payment on any future deal.
