Louis van Gaal expects unattractive football at World Cup 2018

The Netherlands and Manchester United ex-manager Louis van Gaal shared his expectations ahead of World Cup 2018 in Russia.

"I do not think we should expect attractive football at World Cup 2018," he told De Telegraaf. "I think most of the managers will be using the zone defense tactics. In other words, the teams will be parking the bus. "Everyone realizes that it is not really fun to watch those type of games, as even the strongest teams will have difficulties in breaking through such a defense," the former international manager concluded on the matter.
