Liverpool won the race for Ajax's player beating Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City

Liverpool completed the signing of highly-rated Ajax teenager Ki-Jana Hoever. The 16-year-old had been interested by a lot of top European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. However, the opportunities, that Jurgen Klopp gave to youngsters convinced Hoever that Liverpool was the right team to continue his career developing.
