Liverpool have two injured players ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Roma at Anfield. Dejan Lovren is expected to be fit after limping off against Bournemouth on Saturday. Meanwhile, Joe Gomez is close to returning to full training after missing the last four weeks with ankle ligament damage. Gomez will replace injured Joel Matip who will be out for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old defender is closing in on a comeback after he damaged ankle ligaments playing for England against the Netherlands. However, his comeback remains on doubt as rehab stuff will determine whether he’s ready to rejoin his team-mates.
