Leicester reject huge Slimani offer

Leicester City have rejected a £38m bid from Tianjin Quanjan for Islam Slimani, according to Sky Sports.

The Foxes are not interested in selling their striker, who only signed for the club on Deadline Day in August for a club-record £29m.

Sky Sports News HQ understands it would take an extraordinary bid for Leicester to consider a sale, and the club are focused on potentially adding more new players before next Tuesday’s deadline.

The Chinese Super League club, who have been flexing their muscles around several Premier League players including West Ham’s Dimitri Payet, are reportedly prepared to pay Slimani £300,000-per-week.
