Kyle Walker admits Man City tries to be one of Premier League’s greatest teams

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has stated his side want to become one of the greatest teams in Premier League history. City have 87 points this season, and are 16 points ahead of second-placed United. "There is still a lot of room for improvement," England international Walker, 27, told BBC Radio 5 live. "I have read some articles that say we need to win things continuously for a number of years before we are classed as a great team. "Every single one of us wants to be recognised as one of the greatest teams to play in the Premier League. However, taking into consideration City’s 5-1 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League, Walker added. "If we concentrate on ourselves then as a team we can go on to great things," said Walker, "But the Liverpool game showed us that we are not a perfect team." City's title triumph came in manager Pep Guardiola's second season in charge.
