Jimmy Butler trade shock ahead of season opener as Miami Heat make decision

Minnesota Timberwolves and NBA Small forward Jimmy Butler is set to play in Minnesota Timberwolves’ NBA season opener. Shams Charania of the Athletic tweeted: “Minnesota's Jimmy Butler practised again Sunday and is expected to play in the season opener in San Antonio on Wednesday. “Heat/Timberwolves talks have been dead, for now, league sources said.” https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1051532746840055809 Butler also reportedly dropped an F-bomb at Minnesota general manager Scott Layden, stating confidently that "You f***ing need me, Scott. You can't win without me." Butler revealed he requested a trade just four days after the end of last season despite the news not coming out until just before the training camp. “It wasn't a week before,” he said. “We've been talking all summer long, everybody knew the truth throughout the organization because I'm gonna tell you the truth.
