Ivan Gazidis spotted in talks with Mikel Arteta after Gunners’ defeat to Manchester City

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis held talks with former Arsenal managerial target Mikel Arteta following Sunday’s defeat to Manchester City. Gazidis sought out Arteta to make sure there were no ill feelings after the Spaniard missed out on the Emirates hot seat. The 53-year-old is said to have wished Arteta well for the rest of the season. Ironically it was Arteta who masterminded the victors’ victory.
