Dortmund police detained a suspect, as Tuesday’s explosion near to Borussia Dortmund bus has been linked to the Islamist terrorism.
Germany’s federal state prosecutor spokesman Frauke Koehler commented on the matter.
“Two suspects from the Islamist spectrum have become the focus of our investigation. Both of their apartments were searched, and one of the two has been detained,” Koehler announced.
Important to note that two letters were found near the explosion spot, which have become main evidence in the investigation.
UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first-leg Borussia Dortmund vs Monaco, which should have taken place on Tuesday, was rescheduled, and the match will kick off today, Wednesday, April 12.
