Hold on La Liga is coming home. Why you would not miss the first game week of the season

Besides 2013, UEFA Super Cup Winners are all coming from Spain. And according to that fact, La Liga is one of the tops and most waited for leagues in European football. The new 2018/19 La Liga campaign will begin the weekend of 18-19 August. This season will remain in our minds with the absence of Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Andres Iniesta. And the big question is will La Liga giants play their football without this stars as they were more than just a manager or players.

Friday 17th August

Girona, Real Valladolid, Real Betis and Levante are all handed the opportunity to get the spot in the first place of La Liga table, as they will play before the giants.

25 La Liga trophy holders Barcelona will start their race for the 26th title with the game against Alaves. After the departure of Andres Iniesta Barcelona are not looking as well as fans used to see, however, they have signings to avoid bad season. But not only Iniesta’s departure is a blow for the club. Messi is not the same. Following his poor World Cup, fans would expect or better than ever or worst season from Messi and nothing between. However, Philippe Coutinho, Arturo Vidal, Malcom and other star players will do anything to get 3 points from the first match.

No Zidane, No Cristiano Ronaldo just sacked Julen Lopetegui genius Luka Modric and other players who need to prove Real Madrid’s era is not ended and they’re going to win at least the first game in La Liga, after 4-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid in UEFA Super Cup final. The first rival for Los Blancos are Getafe. Another interesting game is Sevilla- Rayo Vallecano, as Sevilla remains one of the contenders for the title.

Monday 20th August

The most interesting game for the first game week is Valencia-Atletico.  With World Cup winner, Thomas Lemar, Saul, Diego Godin and Diego Costa in his squad Diego Simeone is going to a nightmare for Real Madrid and Barcelona this season. After amazing victory in the UEFA Super Cup final over Real Madrid, fans would expect Atletico to play champions game. But Valencia will not let them win without a fight.  After the signings of Michy Batshuayi, Kevin Gamerio and World Cup star Denis Cheryshev they will fight for the spot in the best three.
