Higuain: Criticism goes in one ear and out other
Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain shared his approach of dealing with the criticism that is mean and non-constructive.
"For many years, I haven't cared what is said," the attacker told Marca.
"The destructive criticism goes through one ear and out through the other. Those who try to contribute, I listen to them, but nor do I pay much attention to the praise. My maxim has always been the same and it is none other than work in silence. I go, I train, I'm with the group and nothing else," the 30-year-old continued.
"What is said doesn't matter to me. I've been a decade, twelve years specifically, in Europe, and I'm not interested. To score an important goal at Wembley means I would always celebrate it like I did [with anger]. Nothing else. It was not a vindication," the player concluded.
Gonzalo Higuain has played in 36 games in all competitions of the current season, having scored 21 goals and assisted four times.
