Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola does not think that the team needs to sign players during the winter transfer window.
"We have two strikers and we do not need another one in that position," the manager told his press conference ahead of the Saturday home clash against Newcastle United.
"Of course, players can play in that position for different circumstances, for the way we want to play, especially for the opponents and how they defend.
"But to buy just a striker who can only play there, that is not going to happen," the Spanish specialist concluded on the matter.
Let's recall that Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus picked up an injury at the end of December but has the chance to return on pitch before the start of February.
