Galliani: Milan not orphans, Berlusconi can keep them

Berlusconi wants to sell his club

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani commented on the ownership issues the club is having currently, as the Chinese takeover is being postponed continuously.

“We’ve got clarity and we couldn’t finish everything by the first date, so we allowed two extensions, but I want to point out that Milan are not orphans,” Vice-President and CEO Galliani told Milan TV.

“If the Chinese investors don’t arrive, it’s not as if Berlusconi wouldn’t be able to keep Milan going the way he has done for 31 years and I can assure you he is able to carry on,” the Italian concluded.

The singing of the contract with the Chinese investors is scheduled on April 7, 2017.
