Forbes has revealed just how big the scope of NFL franchises truly are.
The publication just released its 21st annual NFL team valuations list, offering a rare glimpse into the financial status of the franchises that comprise the world’s most lucrative professional sports league.
The top of the list included some expected teams who’ve achieved vast followings and perennial playoff success as well as some surprisingly valuable teams who’ve struggled on the field greatly in recent years.

According to Forbes, the top ten most valuable teams in the NFL are as follows:
- Dallas Cowboys – valued at $5 billion (£3.7b)
- New England Patriots – valued at $3.8 billion (£2.8b)
- New York Giants – valued at $3.3 billion (£2.4b)
- Los Angeles Rams – valued at $3.2 billion (£2.4b)
- Washington Redskins – valued at $3.1 billion (£2.3b)
- San Francisco 49ers – valued at $3.05 billion (£2.2b)
- Chicago Bears – valued at $2.9 billion (£2.1b)
- New York Jets – valued at $2.85 billion (£2.1b)
- Houston Texans – valued at $2.8 billion (£2.1b)
- Philadelphia Eagles – valued at $2.75 billion (£2b)
