Aubameyang frustrated by UEFA regulations which prevent him from playing in the Europa League

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits he has been left frustrated by UEFA regulations which prevent him from playing in the Europa League.

The Gabon striker is unable to represent Arsenal in the Europa League because his former club Borussia Dortmund dropped down in the competition from the Champions League. Aubameyang is effectively cup-tied despite not playing in the Europa League this season and has missed both legs against Ostersunds as well as last week’s victory at AC Milan. "I am really frustrated because the rules are a bit - I don't know how to say in English but I am disappointed because I can't help my team," he said. "That's life. I have to deal with it. I can't play every three days. When I was in Dortmund, I was playing every three days but now I play once a week or have a long time between games. It is not easy."
